Patricia Turner Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Patricia Turner

Patricia Turner Obituary, Death Cause – Patricia When Ruth Turner passed away on July 4, 2023, she did so within the confines of her own home, despite having spent her entire life in the same location in Whitwell, Tennessee. She had reached the age of 81 at the time of her passing. She did not stray from the teachings of the Cartright Church of God in any way, shape, or form in her performance of the religious responsibilities that were incumbent upon her. Cooking and sewing were at the top of Ruth’s list of favorite activities.

Her eleven siblings and her husband Billy Joe Turner had all perished dead before she was born. In addition, she did not have any parents. She was the only member of her family to reach adulthood, and she was the only one who did. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Barker (Don), of Etowah; her sons, Dwayne Turner and Scott “Tic” (Wanda) Turner, both of Dunlap; her five grandchildren, Chad (Megan) Barker, Billy Turner, Emily Turner, Miriam Gibson, and Rebecca Turner; her four great-grandchildren, Branna, Bryson, Charli, and Sydni; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. On Saturday, July 8, at eleven in the morning Central Daylight Time (CDT), funeral services will be place in the chapel of the funeral home, with Bro.

Either one may keep her occupied for a long time. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished the time she got to spend with her children, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. She was the matriarch of a large family that spanned three generations. Her great-grandchildren considered her to be their great-grandmother. In addition to that, she cherished the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren.
