Jim Allmon Obituary, Death Cause – A guy from Springfield was killed in an accident on Monday that involved a motorcycle and a utility vehicle. The collision resulted in the victim’s death. In the city of Palomino, the crash occurred at the intersection of Palomino Road and Veteran’s Parkway.

The identity of the motorcyclist, who was 63 years old, is being kept until his next of kin have been notified, according to Jim Allmon, the coroner for Sangamon County. The motorcyclist was killed in an accident. At the scene of the crash, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead from his injuries.

James H. “Jim” “Big Daddy” Allmon, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the Saint Mary’s Alzheimer Center in Columbiana following a protracted battle with illness. Allmon was from East Liverpool. Jim Allmon was the son of the late George Allmon and Mary (Reeder) Allmon, and he was born in East Liverpool on November 3, 1935.

He was a member of the graduating class of 1954 from East Liverpool High School. Jim had served his country with distinction in the United States Army during the Korean War. After 27 years of service, Jim retired from the City of East Liverpool Fire Department where he had been employed as a fireman. In addition to that, he worked as an installation for Comcast Cable.

Jim was brought up in the Methodist faith. Elks Lodge #258, East Liverpool Moose Lodge #122, American Legion Post #374, and VFW Post #66 were some of the organizations that he was a part of. Mary (Dyer) Allmon, his wife of 60 years, whom he married on April 23, 1959, is the only one he has left to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind three sons, James H. Allmon II and his wife Joni of East Liverpool, Jeff Allmon and his wife Lori of East Liverpool, and Jon Allmon and his wife Juanita of Wellsville; eight grandchildren: James Allmon III, Kayla Allmon, Amanda Allmon, Jona Allmon, St. James Allmon.
