Kenneth Perrin Obituary, Resident Of Spiro Oklahoma Has Died

Kenneth Perrin Obituary, Death Cause –¬†Kenneth Neal Perrin, who was brought into this world on April 23, 1946 in Purcell, Oklahoma by his parents Jewell and Hack Perrin, departed this life on July 6, 2023. Chickasha, Oklahoma was Neal’s home throughout his childhood. After getting married, he and his wife, Linda, moved their family to Spiro, where they brought up their children. They were blessed with two daughters named Heidi and Hollie. When they got married in 1964, when they were only 18 and 15, everyone said that their union was certain to fail.

Despite the challenges presented by their profound feelings for one another, they remained inseparable. They relocated to Fort Smith, then Pocola, after retiring from Spiro Schools and taking early retirement. The funeral service for Kenneth Neal Perrin, age 77, of Spiro, Oklahoma will be held at the Victory Worship Center in Spiro, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Tashala Devrow, Sidney Ree, Kevin Peterson, and Rodney Fouts serving as the officiating clergy.

For the past 45 years, Neal has worked in education. 1969 marked the beginning of his career as a teacher at Spiro High School, where he remained there for the next three decades. After leaving teaching in the classroom, he went on to become the principal of Hackett High School, and he retired from the field of education for a second time in 2012. After some time had passed, he went back to UAFS (the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith) to work as an adjunct professor. He had a lot of affection for his coworkers, instructors, support staff, patrons of the schools, and students at all three of the educational institutions. He would frequently say things like, “God has blessed me immeasurably by allowing me to educate in these three marvelous communities.”
