Christopher Merritt Obituary, Death Cause –¬†Christopher L. Merritt, who was 41 years old at the time of his death, went away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 1, 2023. On June 22, 1982, in the town of Springfield, Vermont, his mother, Rebecca (Sargent) Merritt, and father, James R. Sr., were overjoyed to welcome their son into the world. After completing his education at Springfield Schools, he was awarded the General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Christopher placed a high importance on the time he was able to spend working with computers and other forms of technology. He will be remembered for the altruistic spirit he possessed and his passion to assist individuals who were struggling financially. His family and friends will grieve deeply over his demise because they were quite close to him.

Those who are bereaved by his loss include his mother, Rebecca A. Davis, his brother, Jonathan Merritt Sr., his sister, Kayla A. Davis, his best friend, Jessica Nichols, and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Jaiden, Joshua, Sarah, Olyvia, Nakita, and Amber. Additionally, his closest friend, Jessica Nichols, is among those who survive him. In addition, he is survived by a sizable group of cousins, aunts, and uncles who were quite close to him.
Before he was born, his great-grandfather Richard Sargent, his father James R. Merritt Sr., and his father’s parents, Howard and Winifred Merritt, all passed away. His grandfather was named James R. Merritt Sr.

At eleven in the morning local time on Friday, July 7, 2023, friends and family are cordially invited to pay their respects at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont. There will be a service at the gravesite in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Proctorsville, Vermont, following the viewing of the body.
